Kari received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2007 with Summa Cum Laude Honors. She has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and women’s health focusing on prenatal and post-partum aspects.
Through her clinical experience and personal journey of motherhood, she developed a passion for helping new moms thrive during and after their pregnancies. To optimally serve this population, she obtained advanced obstetrics training through the APTA and Pregnancy and Post Partum Exercise Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification. Additional highlights have been working with various adolescent, collegiate and professional athletes throughout the U.S. to keep them doing what they love.
Kari is committed to lifelong learning and excellence, recently earning the distinction of Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. This has allowed her to effectively evaluate, diagnose, and treat complex spine and extremity conditions that may have failed conventional treatments. She is dually trained in Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore/Evidence in Motion and Integrative Dry Needling which has allowed her to bring an eclectic, holistic component to patient care.
Personally experiencing limitations within the traditional healthcare models and listening to frustrations expressed by patients as they too slipped through the cracks, Kari continues to explore more holistic, integrative and functional approaches to truly help patients heal. She is excited to continue her passion of restoring function and bringing hope to patients across the lifespan!
